Launched in 2014 by the World Bank Kenya office, the Blog4Dev competition is an annual writing contest, inviting young people to weigh in on a topic critical to the country’s economic development. The competition is a way to engage Africa’s youth and provide a platform to share their views—and solutions—about development topics that are important to them.

Region Japan Goi Peace International Essay Contest is an annual essay contest which is organized in an effort to harness the energy, creativity and initiative of the world’s youth in promoting a culture of peace and sustainable development.

Submissions will be accepted in four categories: art, essay, short video, and social project. Deadline for submissions is April 13th, 2020. Winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in all three categories in Peel Region will have an opportunity to participate in Creative Minds Youth Contest GTA which will be held in the Fall of 2020 (more details to come).

The Lincoln Essay Competition supports 8th Grade Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts Literacy in Writing. The competition is judged in four regions. Home-schooled students are encouraged to enter, and will be judged as a member of the region in which they reside.

Applications are invited for the Essay Writing Contest 2020 form the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Winners will get Fully Funded all expenses paid a cultural historical trip to Azerbaijan. The Contest is open for youths at an age between 18-29 years.

Winners of the contest will receive different prizes such as laptops, e-readers, tablets, etc. Winners of the GTA contest will receive scholarships in varying amounts. Other finalists will receive special gift bags from the organizers and sponsors of the contest.

STEM Essay Contest The Virginia Council on Women (Council) will provide one merit-based and one need-based scholarship to high school seniors in each of the five geographic regions across the Commonwealth through a STEM essay contest. This year, merit-based scholarships will be awarded based on the quality of the essay submitted.
